Located in NYC's Flatiron District, Kat & Theo offers a neighborhood destination for seasonal, New American fare from executive chef David Fisher. At Kat & Theo, Fisher cooks simple, produce-driven food, employing both time-honored and innovative culinary techniques to create playful-yet-polished dishes. Fisher’s deft culinary skills, honed at several Michelin-starred restaurants, recently earned him a spot as one of 10 USA semi-finalists in the prestigious 2016 San Pellegrino Young Chefs competition.
Pastry chef Serena Chow, formerly of Eleven Madison Park and Pearl & Ash, oversees the desserts and house-made bread program. The beverage program features a Mediterranean-focused wine list, balanced with domestic picks and a robust by-the-glass offering, alongside vibrant cocktails from Michael Timmons, whose resume includes The Lamb’s Club and working under Jim Kearns. The restaurant’s name nods to co-owner Andreas Typaldos’ parents Katerina and Theodosios, reflecting his journey from the Greek island of Lefkada in Old World Europe to New World America as told through the menu and design.
